Online Dryer Applications
LFP Digital Printing

When large format printing with solvent, ecosolvent, dye or pigment ink, one has often the need to dry the output from the printer. The printed material is not really dry when it hits the ground, causing two major problems: dust on the print and eventually sticking to each other. The result is the same: a ruined print out. Thanks to the Online Dryer, the media will be absolute dry when touching the ground!

Solvent Printing

The solvent inks make up a big part of the ink ( up to 93% ). These solvents are proven to attack the adhesive layer, causing a severe loss in adhesive power. Vinyl manufacturers advise to evacuate the solvents as soon as possible. Thanks to the Online Dryer with bottom up heating, solvents evaporate quickly.

Screen printing film

Inkjet printing is used more and more for the production of screen printing films. As these films require high densities ( D2.7 upwards ) the black regions are flooded with ink. In order to protect them from sticking together or to prevent them to adhere dust it is advisable to dry the film as soon as it comes out of the printer.

Automatic take up device

When a take up device is installed on the large format printer one must be sure that the media is absolute dry before it touches the roller. The Online Dryer is a perfect tool to ensure this.

There are 2 Online Dryer models: The M model and the X model.
